PREMIER INN, PUTNEY

Section 73 updates rationalised servicing, cores and typical room plans within a mixed-use hotel, office and retail scheme, with revised elevations and roof plant.

THE BRIEF

A Section 73 submission was required to amend an extant consent for a mixed-use development of seven to ten storeys plus basement, comprising retail/food uses, offices and a hotel. The drawings show coordination changes driven by updated servicing, energy and fire strategy requirements, and operator room layouts.

OUR SOLUTION

The basement footprint was reduced and reconfigured around hotel back-of-house, plant and a dedicated goods lift. At ground floor, the entrance, lobby/core arrangement and a defined deliveries route were adjusted, with a new substation within the courtyard. Upper floors were extended locally, the courtyard lightwell removed, and typical room layouts and windows rationalised.
